This year, I’m embarking on a travel challenge that might sound a little… excessive. I’m flying to 25 different JetBlue destinations before the end of the year—not just for fun (though there will be some of that), but to take advantage of JetBlue’s 25 for 25 promotion.
The reward? 350,000 bonus miles and Mosaic 1 status for the next 25 years. That’s a lifetime of perks for a relatively short-term investment in time, money, and miles. And for a frequent traveler like me—with a family of five and a home base in the Northeast—those perks add up fast.
Why JetBlue?
Even though I’m a Delta Million Miler and have United Silver status, JetBlue offers some unique advantages that made this challenge a no-brainer for our family:
They fly where we go: As a big Disney and cruise family, we’re constantly heading to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. JetBlue offers tons of convenient routes from NYC-area airports.
Allergy-friendly travel: Traveling gluten-free and dairy-free isn’t always easy, but JetBlue stands out with labeled menus and allergy-aware snacks—especially in Mint.
A killer status match: When Delta changed their Medallion program, JetBlue offered a strong status match that helped me fast-track into Mosaic status. From there, this challenge became a smart next step.
What’s the Strategy?
Let’s just say… I’ve got spreadsheets.
From mapping flights between JetBlue hubs to booking short-hop destinations and even using Amtrak or other airlines to return, I’ve developed a strategy that maximizes savings and minimizes time away from home. I’ll also share how I’m using Google Flights alerts, JetBlue Travel Bank refunds, and the JetBlue Plus Card to stretch every dollar and point.

What’s at Stake?
Besides the bragging rights? I’m looking at:
Lifetime JetBlue Mosaic 1 status
$5,000+ worth of bonus miles
Perks like early boarding, free checked bags, preferred seating, and more
Ongoing United Silver status through their Blue Sky partnership
And honestly, I’m just excited to see if I can pull it off. With 8 weekends and a whole lot of logistics, it’s going to be a wild ride.
